Made with the same care as Ornellaia, Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia is a true second wine. 
Grape variety : 54% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot.
Color: intense
Nose: fresh notes of ripe red fruits, associated with balsamic and aromas of cypress berries and eucalyptus.
Palate: supple and silky, with an elegant tannic texture and a tangy, persistent finish.
The 2019 vintage was quite unique, characterized by a climate that can be described as a roller coaster, with cold, rainy episodes alternating with long periods of dryness and heat.
