Apricot

The apricot resembles the peach but is much smaller. It has a pale yellow or orange color with some red shades. It doesn't have a very juicy pulp, it has a fibrous texture and farinaceous consistency when it is ripe. Apricot is mainly consumed fresh, although it is also used to make stewed fruit, jams, juices and dried apricots.
