Rock Chives

Rock Chives

Packaging: 80GR X 16PUN

Rock Chive is a type of chive with a slightly stronger and more robust flavor compared to common chives.

Rock Chives are highly decorative due to the seed that remains attached at the end of the strands. Its taste is similar to mild garlic, making it distinct from regular chives. Rock Chives are too delicate to be cooked but are highly appreciated as a garnish.

However, they can be blanched. We recommend serving them on toast with foie gras or pairing them perfectly with fish dishes. A tomato soup topped with a dollop of fresh cream and adorned with Rock Chives is both attractive and appetizing.

Rock Chives are a type of chive originating from the mountains of East Asia, known for their robust flavor. They belong to the allium family, which includes a wide range from lilies to shallots. Rock Chives can be cultivated from seeds.
